Walter Guimarães (pronounced: VAH-oo-tehr gee-mah-RAHN-ees) is a Brazilian electrician. He worked as the gaffer for the 1984 Brazilian parody film Os Trapalhões e o Mágico de Oróz.

Walter Guimarães is best known for his works as electrician for the films "O Homem de Seis Milhões de Cruzeiros Contra as Panteras", from 1978, "Sofia e Anita - Deliciosamente Impuras", from 1980, "Os Saltimbancos Trapalhões", from 1981, "Gabriela", from 1983. He made his film debut as a electrician in the 1973 film "O Libertino". His work in "Os Trapalhões e o Mágico de Oróz" was the only time he was credited as gaffer, as far as IMDb counts.
