Tollydiggle is a woman who lives in the Emerald City. She serves as the jailer of the only prison in the Land of Oz.
The prison is an elegant place, and Tollydiggle is a caring and compassionate jailer. In the original series, she's only shown caring for one prisoner: Ojo the Unlucky. She cooked him a delicious meal of mutton-chops with gravy, and read him a story after dinner.

Jack Snow made Tollydiggle the wife of Omby Amby, who in Snow's version does double duty as the Guardian of the Gates. (The Magical Mimics in Oz)
Jonathan Markoff's Jinjur Series portrays Tollydiggle as having some anger management issues, but ultimately able to listen to reason.
