The Wizard of the Emerald City (Russian: Волшебник Изумрудного города) is a 1994 film based on Magic Land book series. It was produced by the Gorky Film Studio in Moscow.

Plot[]

A terrible hurricane, caused by the evil witch Gingema to kill people, takes Ellie and her faithful friend Totoshka to the Magic Land. The brave girl, together with Totoshka, as well as the inhabitants of the Magic Land - the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion - went to the Emerald City to the wizard Goodwin to ask him to fulfill their wishes.^[1]
