George Kerr did not illustrate Burgess' Paddy the Beaver[]
George Kerr did not illustrate Thornton W. Burgess' The Adventures of Paddy the Beaver". That was Harrison Cady. Cady illustrated most of Burgess' books. Kerr only illustrated four of them. For one of those, he illustrated two different editions with two different sets of illustrations:
- Old Mother West Wind (1910)
- Old Mother West Wind (1914 edition with new full color illustrations)
- Old Mother West Wind's Children (1911)
- Old Mother West Wind's Animal Friends (1912)
- Old Mother West Wind's Neighbors (1913)
In the 1960s, new editions of OMWW, Children, and Neighbors were published with new illustrations by Harrison Cady, leaving Animal Friends as the only Burgess title illustrated only by Kerr and never by Cady.
