Reading Adventures in Oz

Reading Adventures in Oz is an educational computer game released for Microsoft DOS by Davision in 1992 on three floppy disks. It is loosely inspired by the Oz books with 40 word matching stages with three skill levels per the four characters Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion.

At the end of each game, they meet the Wizard who appears as a blue genie that can grant their wishes such as using a magical envelope labeled "Home" to send Dorothy and Toto back to Kansas. Various characters appear such as Ozma, Glinda, General Jinjur, Jack Pumpkinhead, Polychrome, the Sawhorse, and the Queen of the Field Mice, alongside obscure ones including King Dox, King Bal, and Johnny Dooit. However for some unusual reason, Mombi is a bearded man that wears a cape.
