In The Ozmapolitan of Oz, Melody the River Princess, a fairy whose domain is the Winkie River, says one of her three sisters inhabits the Quadling River. It is not clear what is meant, as there are no major rivers in the Quadling Country. It might refer to the upper reaches of the Winkie River or the Trick River, both of which have their sources in the Quadling Country. Other, smaller rivers include:
- the Little Enough River (near Big Enough Mountain) (Speedy in Oz)
- a river feeding the Great Waterfall (which then empties underground) (The Scarecrow of Oz)
- a river flowing through the Red Gorge, where Howzatagin operates a ferry near the border with the Munchkin Country (Merry Go Round in Oz)
