O Mágico Di Ó (English: The Wizard o' Ó) is a 2023 Brazilian film that adapts the musical theater of the same name, inspired in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz book by L. Frank Baum. The film tells the story of migrants from the Brazilian Northeast on their way to the city of São Paulo.

Synopsis[]

Dorotéia is on her way to São Paulo with her family after a major drought in the northeast. Along the way she meets Osvaldo, a storyteller.
