Synopsis[]

(Translated from the official synopsis provided by one of the production companies)

An updated adaptation of the unforgettable classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, La Maga is a magical tale of love and adventure where fantasy and reality intertwine, and dreams come true.

Dorana (Dorothy) is a poor and clumsy girl who dreams of becoming a fairytale princess. Without love and accompanied only by her young friend Toto, she longs to visit other worlds and escape her dull life for a greater destiny. It seems like just a dream—until a storm changes everything. As she journeys along the path to Oz, she discovers spiritual "keys" that help her resolve conflicts, uncover her true identity, and ultimately find love.
