Jack Pumpkinhead is a major character in Disney's 1985 cult classic film Return to Oz. He was played by Michael Sundin with the head movements operated by Tim Rose and voiced by Sean Barrett.
History[]
He was created by Princess Ozma to scare the witch Mombi, but he was more afraid of her. When Mombi took control of the Emerald City with Nome King's help, she imprisoned Ozma inside a mirror and disabled Jack, tearing his wooden limbs off and leaving him in her attic, threatening to bake his head into a pie. However, as she was wearing her head #22 at the time and was constantly switching heads, she never remembered to go back for it.
