Glinda Journey Back to Oz

Glinda with her Glinda Bird, in Journey Back to Oz.

The Glinda Bird is a bird belonging to Glinda, the Good Witch of the North in Journey Back to Oz.

The bird is a pink and colorful bird with large tail feathers like a peacock. It can curl its feathers into an oval, which then magically projects an image from somewhere else in Oz onto the oval. (Journey Back to Oz)

The Glinda Bird helps Glinda see what's going on elsewhere in Oz. It alerted her that Mombi had conquered the Emerald City with her army of Green Elephants. She also saw through the bird's feathers that Dorothy had wished to see her, for help defeating Mombi. (Journey Back to Oz)
