Madam de Fayke is a hoofist in the village of Dunkiton. According to the Grey Donkey who led Dorothy, Button Bright, and the Shaggy Man to King Kik-a-bray, a hoofist is a donkey who tells peoples fortunes by reading their hooves.(The Road to Oz)
