Evoldo was a king of the Land of Ev. He is introduced in L. Frank Baum's third Oz book, 'Ozma of Oz', published in 1907.

He was said to be a very cold and cruel man. A impetuous ruler, who after purchasing Tik-Tok the clockwork man, gave him his name. Evoldo sold his wife and ten children (five boys and five girls) to the Nome King in exchange for a long life. Later, regretting this bargain, he locked Tik-Tok in a stone chamber and jumped into the Nonestic Ocean, killing himself. (Ozma of Oz)


Evoldo is discussed and pictured in Ozma of Oz (1907), but has died before the adventure takes place.
