The enchanted bell is a magic item that Ozma gives to Dorothy in Toto Transformed. Initially she forgets its purpose, thinking it was an ordinary bell.
After it transforms Toto into Ozsquatch, Ozma remembers what it does. Upon taking it back she is transformed into Ozmasquatch but doesn't seem to realize it.

It is a small purple bell with a loop on the end. Anyone who rings it three times is transformed into a monstrous version of themselves and ringing it five times reverses the effect.
