History[]
Colonel Ferreira was watching the trial where Delegate Lion, as a punishment to two criminals who invaded the colonel’s farm and stole his water, ordered one of them to look at the Sun until he have counted a thousand stars, and the other to have his head down looking at the ground and spinning eight hundred times like a turkey, when he saw teacher Aninha causing confusion with the delegate. Colonel Ferreira then went to greet the teacher, who shouted at him, saying that he was a monster and that the punishments for these two thieves were unfair and inhumane. Colonel Ferreira proposed na agreement: if Aninha agreed to marry him, he would order the suspension of the punishments and the provision of water in her school for her and her children. Aninha denied it, saying that she would rather go thirsty and close the school. The colonel insisted, saying that she would have enough water to take her baths, but she still denied it, saying that she really liked Lion and that she only took a bath on Saturdays. Colonel Ferreira was outraged to learn that Aninha liked Lion, because for him a beautiful woman needed to have a brave man like him and unlike Lion. Aninha said that a man surrounded by his henchmen was not brave, he was a coward in disguise. Humiliated, Colonel Ferreira left.
After a while, Colonel Ferreira went to his farm to see if the people were satisfied with the water they were receiving, when he noticed a woman fighting with one of his guards. When asking what happened, Colonel Ferreira learned that the woman did not have money to buy water nor a voter registration card to be able to vote for him as mayor. The woman swore that her late husband had a voter registration card and had voted for the colonel in the vote before his death, but Colonel Ferreira didn't care, saying that he would not be elected by the deceased's vote, knocking the woman to the ground. Seeing this, Didi, who had gained access to the farm's water reservoir using the clothes of one of the guards he had knocked out, threw Colonel Ferreira in the reservoir. Furious, Colonel Ferreira decided to punish them by sending two of his monster minions to go after them.
While leaving Wizard of Oróz’s house, Didi and his friends met with Colonel Ferreira. Colonel Ferreira was outraged at them because, in addition to trying to steal his water, they also asked that healer for help. Threatening to kill Didi, Colonel Ferreira threw a machete towards him, hitting the ground a few centimeters from his foot. Didi took the machete and threatened to kill Colonel Ferreira, who revealed he had a second machete. The two began to fight until Colonel Ferreira managed to disarm Didi. Seeing that Didi was in danger, the Wizard sent him a magic bone that allowed him to win the fight.(Os Trapalhões e o Mágico de Oróz (film))
